Mixed feelings.....a torn heart....

School broke up on the 5th December 2008 - it was a day with loads of different emotions! 1) sadness - it was my sister's last day of primary school and that was a shock for me beacuse i can clearly remember my last day there!! 2) excitement - it was the start of the 6week holidays! 3) nervousness - my friend was coming down in a couple of hours and he was bringing a friend and i was feeling a tad nervous BUT excited as well!!

Anyway, i got home at 11:15am and M and R arrived at 12ish! M didn't even introduce me to R but we unpacked their car nevertheless! As we unpacked we all were laughing and M was teasing me! Things were going great! I stayed there (they stayed at my grandpa's house) for the rest of the day! We were getting on so well despite the fact that R and I were never officially introduced! we spent 3 hours the one day just chatting - from total strangers to sharing everything about each other! To cut the story short R and I connected so well! It was scary how well you could get on with someone after you had just met them! We really did get on well!

11 days passed by so quickly and we all departed and went our separate ways. R and i promised to keep in contact, which we did! On Christmas eve R told me that he really liked me BUT was scared I'd diss him beacuse he is 2 years younger than me, anyway things got more interesting, we spoke until after midnight about our dillema! (oh i forgot to mention he lives in Greytown which is outside Pietermaritzburg - 3 hours away from me)

On Christmas day we chatted a bit but nothing really happened! I then went up to him on Tues 30th December and i spent the night there before we went to Midmar for New Year! Things were going well, we were getting on well! Then on New Years eve we were kind of together, he kissed me for the first time and we took many walks hand in hand! On new years day he came home with me and on the 2nd we went to the Transkei with my friend and her boyfriend and my friend's parents. Things were really going well and he officially asked me out while we were there! When we got back for 7 days in the transkei he stayed here for another 2 days! And on the last night we were having 2nd thoughts because of the distance! and he is going off to Stellenbosch for Varsity next year and that's like 16 hours away! Anyway we decided to keep things as friends and we'll wait and see what happens! He is coming down here in April for the holidays and we are gonna see then about what to do...do we pursue a relationship or do we just say best friends!!???

Now my heart doesn't know what to do - i really like him, we get on well and i have been single for so long and it might be nice to have someone to unload on and who is affectionate to you! But on the other hand i am scared to commit because of the distance thing!! I really don't know what to do!!

Please any advice???????

My very first post for 2009!

Today is a Saturday! It started off with gym and then a Mugg and Bean breakfast!
I hope that everyone had a blessed festive season??

May the New Year bring many laughs, loads of happiness and love to everyone.

How can someone be taken away so quickly!!

Last night was the worst night of my life so far!!
My Nana passed away at 7pm! The only thing that makes me smile is that she is up in Heaven with her son and her sister!

BUT why are people taken away! How do you face things without them? One day you are here and the next day you are gone!

My prayer is that the family find strength to celebrate the good times we had with her!
May she rest in peace!!

Nans, i will miss you terribly but i know one day we will all be together again!! Thank you for everything that you have given me.....whenever mom says no ask nana!! :-)

Today..

Well i survived Monday!! What a day. Got to school - well work and did not stop til 13:45! Reports for the various grades are staggered but are all due on the bosses desk. So Gr 1's tomorrow, Gr 2's Wednesday and Gr 3's thursday which means that the stress of printing them starts! you gotta make sure the printer doesn't jam because there is a limited amount of cardboard available! Believe me it doesn't sound stressful until you actually do it!! I have timed it, it takes 1 min 55secs 07 split secs for 1 report! So that means 22 + 22+ 21 + 25 + 28 + 29 + 30 = 177 reports which means 267 mins!! And the whole time you have stressed teacher's stressing about getting the reports done!

So today started with report stress!
Got a busy week, I am going to the Hillsong United concert on Wednesday night and can't wait!! Fri i am going to my sisters Grade 7 farewell party!

It is 18 days til school ends!! whooo hooo, can't wait for the 6 week holiday!

I'm in love......

This weekend we went up to Qunu Falls in Ixopo. It is beautiful there! We left at 3 and we got there just before 6. We ended up travelling in the mist. Saturday was also misty.

Anyway whenever we are there we go and feed the animals (they have a few goats, geese, chickens and rabbits) While i was there i found a friend.......a baby goat...a kid! I could not stop loving this thing, it was SO SO friendly! I fell so in love and it is so strange coz i actually miss it so much. It was the cutest little thing, i could have easily taken it home!! I have this strange feeling in my heart - like something is missing! :-)

I have now decided that i want to live in the country and raise goats, chickens and sheep! What an awesome life it would be!

Today is Monday and the weather isn't great - when do you think summer will come?? All i want to do is swim and be outside!!

Champions!!

YES the Sharks did it!!!!

Well done boys!

What a nail biting game! We sit down and i am SO amped for this game and 10 or 15mins into the game the signal at the stadium was lost so TV coverage was cut!!! I nearlly had a heart attack! It came back on 10mins later as we scored a try!! Well Done Ruan :-)

The game was an intense game! The last 50 seconds were the worst! It was metres away from the bulls try lie and the bulls got a scrum! I thought it was overs for us BUT the determination of the sharks was unbelievable...they wanted that ball even though the Bulls pack was heavier than ours...we got the ball!!!! What a moment as Jean Deyzel kicked it out!!!! :-) i couldn't help myself i just screamed and jumped up and down!!

I am VERY VERY proud to say i am a Sharks fan!! My blood will ALWAYS be black and white!
